Cricket Cartoon: The Gilchrist Tendulkar controversy

By Mrigank Shekhar - Posted on 31 October 2008

My take on the Sachin Tendulkar and Adam Gilchrist controversy which erupted as a result of the gloveman's autobiography, True Colours.

This is a rip from Jim Carrey's movie Liar Liar, which saw the protaganist using a lot of lies to win his cause. Well, according to sources, Gilchrist might be doing the same.

A similar controversy happened in the famous Sydney Test in 2008. The same is captured in the bucknor cartoon and Ricky Ponting review.

if he is lying..

he might be right when he said that tendulkar was not there when he went for the handshake.. but calling Tendulkar unposrting is highly unjustified and inappropriate..

especially considering that it was the aussies who did not bother to shake hands with the 2 batsmen in the field.

also, his allegation of tendulkar being cheat is utter nonsense.
